The company is therefore responsible for the collection, processing and use of personal data and for ensuring that data processing complies with applicable data protection law.
RFsolutions GmbH respects the protection of personal data and complies with the legal requirements of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the Ordinance to the Federal Act on Data Protection (OFADP), the Swiss Telecommunications Act (TCA), as well as applicable provisions of European data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The following information explains which personal data are collected, for what purposes they are used, and what rights data subjects have.
1. Visiting the Website
When visiting the website, servers automatically and temporarily store technical data in log files. This corresponds to standard practice for any connection to a web server. The following data are recorded and stored for a maximum of 12 months:
- IP address of the requesting device,
- name of the IP address owner (usually the Internet access provider),
- date and time of access,
- referrer URL (including search term, if applicable),
- name and URL of the accessed file,
- status code (e.g. error message),
- operating system of the device,
- browser type, version and language,
- transmission protocol used (e.g. HTTP/1.1).
The processing of this data is necessary to establish a connection, ensure the ongoing security and stability of the system, optimize the website, and for internal statistical purposes. The legal basis is the legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
2. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
Personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if explicit consent has been given, if there is a legal obligation to do so, or if this is necessary to protect legitimate interests, e.g. to enforce legal claims.
In addition, data may be disclosed to third parties in the context of website use and contract processing (also outside the website), such as to transport service providers handling the shipment of goods. The website is hosted on servers located in Switzerland. The legal basis is the legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
3. Transfer of Data Abroad
Personal data may be transferred to commissioned service providers abroad for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. These service providers are contractually obligated to comply with data protection requirements. If the level of data protection in a given country does not correspond to Swiss or EU standards, contractual guarantees ensure an adequate level of protection.
4. Cookies
The website uses cookies to make the visit easier, more user-friendly, and more efficient. Cookies are small information files stored automatically on the device’s hard drive by the web browser.
Cookies are used, for example, to provide shopping cart functionality across multiple pages or to temporarily store form entries. Cookies may also identify registered users without requiring repeated logins.
Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, users can configure their browser to reject cookies or display a warning each time before a new cookie is saved. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of the website.
5. Tracking and Web Analytics
For the purpose of optimizing the website and tailoring it to user needs, Google Analytics is used. This service employs cookies to create pseudonymized usage profiles. The generated information (e.g. navigation path, time spent on pages, device data) is transmitted to and processed on servers operated by Google.
The IP address is anonymized through the “anonymizeIP” function. In exceptional cases, the full IP address may be transmitted to servers in the United States. In such cases, contractual safeguards ensure that Google provides adequate data protection.
